DuBois Area High School students participated and competed with the best singers/musicians from more than 60 other schools in Region 2 (northwestern Pennsylvania).  Under the direction of guest conductor, Dr. Ryan Beeken, Director of Choral Activities at Indiana University of Pa., students rehearsed Thursday, March 2, Friday, March 3, and Saturday, March 4 and performed a Saturday afternoon concert for their family, friends, and the local area.

Thursday afternoon students auditioned to see who would be moving on to PMEA All-State Chorus Chorus.  (Competing against 20 students in each of their sections.)  The auditions results showed that all of the students from DuBois Area placed in the top half of their sections, however, only the top 4 students from each section move on to State Chorus.  Congratulations to Alexa Alker, Raeanne Reynolds, and Tom Hibbert, who will be representing DuBois at the State festival in April.
