Penfield Elementary School fourth and fifth graders recently had a visit from Penn State DuBois Wildlife students.
The DuBois Area Middle School has implememented the Chomp-Out Hunger Program. This program is designed to assist families in need. If you are interested in receiving non-perishable food items, please contact your child's guidance counselor at 375-8770. Also, if you are interested in donating items to this program, you can drop off non-perishable food items to the middle school office between the hours of 8 a.m. and 4 p.m.

Girls' JV/varsity basketball at Conneaut postponed Dec. 10 has been rescheduled for Feb. 11.
Girls' JV/varsity basketball at Central Mountain postponed Dec. 12 has been rescheduled for Jan. 3.
Boys' 7th & 8th grade basketball at Park Forest postponed Dec. 12 has been rescheduled for Jan. 9.
Boys' 9th grade basketball at State College postponed Dec. 12 has been rescheduled for Jan. 9.
New safety enhancements announced for elementary
As part of its ongoing efforts to keep students and staff safe and secure, the DuBois Area School District has announced additional safety enhancements at all seven elementary schools. Click here to read more about the new safety enhancements.
DAMS enters contest
The DuBois Area Middle School has registrered for the Edmentum Summer Academic Sprints Contest through Study Island. Click here for more information about the contest. The school has opportunity to win credit toward Edmentum products as well as Chromebook computers through the contest.
