Schools throughout the DuBois Area School District celebrated Dr. Seuss' birthday recently with a variety of reading-related activities. Some schools had National Honor Society students from the high school come in and read to their classes. Some other guest readers included Superntendent Tim Deluccia at Penfield Elementary and Mayor Herm Suplizio at Sykesville Elementary. Others planned reading-related games, decorated bulletin boards with clever sayings and served green eggs and ham for lunch.
