This is the link to the events calendar for all of Pennsylvania's State Parks.  Click on the park you would like to visit and view their summer events (Common local parks: Parker Dam, Cook Forest, S.B. Elliot).  Kids can easily connect to the experience through creative writing, journal writing, reading a book on the same topic, etc.  The possibilities aer endless! :)
