DuBois Area High School students stepped up to help out local veterans recently.
Local author Kristine Gasbarre recently spoke to DuBois Area High School students in Mrs. Dorothea Hackett’s AP Language and Composition class, as well as freshmen students in Mrs. Denise Delp’s and Mrs. Heidi Shindledecker’s English classes, about non-fiction/memoir writing and the publishing industry.
The sophomore English classes at DuBois Area High School held their annual Ides of March event to celebrate the reading of William Shakespeare’s Julius Caesar.
The DuBois Area High School Science Team recently competed at the American Chemical Society (ACS) Regional Chemistry Olympiad in State College.
Students from Juniata Elementary School recently thanked Farmers National Bank for its contribution to the DuBois Area Schools’ Educational Foundation.
DuBois Area High School life skills and multi-disabled students suggested leaving the school’s Christmas tree up in front of the auditorium and decorate it for the different holidays and seasons.
Oklahoma Elementary School recently held its spring performance featuring the 4th-5th grade band and chorus, under the direction of Mr. Richard Fisherowski and Mrs. Kristina Keith, and the K-1 music classes performing "Go Fish!"
