We have been reading some nonfiction stories about the Titanic disaster. The students each studied a passenger on the ship and wrote a biography, including their experience on the Titanic. They took on the character of that person and presented the information to our third grade neighbors. The students also studied Titanic artifacts and created some representations of them. They wrote about the artifacts, creating a back story for who may have used them on the ship.
