Mrs. Sensor has been at DuBois Area Middle School since the fall of 2001. She loves her job and the students she works with! Mrs. Sensor teaches 6th grade Music Class and the 300+ member 6-8th grade chorus. After regular school hours she directs the middle school play! Mrs. Sensor holds a Bachelor of Arts in Music Education degree from Edinboro University of Pennsylvania and a Masters of Education with specialization in Mid-level education from Walden University. Mrs. Sensor has been both a vocalist and flute player for many events state wide, and she is an active member of PMEA where she serves as the District 3 Vice President and Chorus Fest Coordinator, and as the immediate past chairperson of the PMEA State Student Events Council.
Mrs. Sensor lives in Treasure Lake with her husband, Mr. Sensor and her kids Max, Maddie, and Molly. Mrs. Sensor has been very active in local community theaters including Footlighters of Elk County, Brookville Community Theater, and (most currently) The Reitz Theater in DuBois where she has directed the Children's and Teen Workshops as well as regular season ticket shows.
Last October, Mr. and Mrs. Sensor directed Stephen Sondheim's "Sweeney Todd" and received a letter from Stephen Sondheim himself!!!
